NAVFone PPC for Acer Devices (Phone Version)
IMPORTANT :
i. To activate NAVFone PPC, please use "Activate via SMS".
ii. To ensure successful installation, user are advised to uncheck the 'Power Save' mode. Please click on device -> settings -> system -> power -> advanced -> under "on battery power" -> uncheck the "Turn off device if not used"
iii. Note: Upon completion of all installation, user may want to repeat the above steps to 'check' the "Turn off device if not used" for device to be in Power Save mode.
Step 1 : Install Application
1) Download the Application CAB
2) Remove the SD card from your device.
3) Insert the SD card into a SD card reader.
4) Copy this file "NAVFone_PPC_Onboard.9012.CAB" into your device SD card
5) Insert this SD card back into your device
6) From your device, click on -> File Explorer ->Storage card ->NAVFone_PPC_Onboard.9012.CAB
7) The installation process will start. Press "Yes" for any security prompt.
8) Device will prompt user on installation path, is importance that user MUST select "\Storage Card", and press "Install".
9) After installation, from your device, click on -> Program -> NavFone PPC icon to start the application.
10) For first time user the application will prompt "Invalid Registration key ".
11) Select "Activate via SMS" to activate NAVFone PPC
12) Done
Step 2: Install Map
1) Download the map installers

2) Remove the SD card from your device.
3) Insert the SD card into a SD card reader.
4) Copy the installers into your device SD card.
5) Insert this SD card back into your device.
6) From your device, click on -> File Explorer ->Storage card
7) Tap on the individual map installer to start the installation process.
8) Device will prompt user on installation path. It is preferable to install to the memory card. Press "Install" to start the installation process.
9) Done
