AGIS, Navi & Map and Malaysia Yellow Pages partners to capture bigger mobile and navigation market share - 23 Sep 2009

Kuala Lumpur - AGIS, Navi & Map and Yellow Pages Malaysia signed a landmark agreement to jointly provide the complete navigation solution with full Yellow Pages listing in AGIS NAVFone & NAVFDrive products in Malaysia at the Go Mobile 2009 exhibition in KLCC on 23rd September 2009.

This agreement has given Yellow Pages Malaysia an edge over other business directory providers by making it "Absolutely Mobile".

Represented by Mr. Chew K K, Managing Director of Mobitrak Sdn Bhd a subsidiary of AGIS, the agreement was witnessed by the media and partners.

Users will now be able to access the Yellow Pages business, product & services on their mobile phones or Personal Navigation Devices (PND) while on the move. This outstanding feature comes on top of an intelligent and intuitive navigation base that includes Voice Prompts, 3D Landmark Icons, Toll Data, Tunnel Simulation and an existing extensive database of roads and points of interest in West Malaysia. Users can be routed to any company on the Yellow Pages listing on the NAVFone & NAVFDrive application.

AGIS Partners Microsoft at Windows Phone Product Launch - 16 Oct 2009

Singapore - AGIS showcased its NAVFone with Live Traffic Information at the official launch of the Windows Phone at ION Orchard from 16 - 18 October 2009.

First previewed at the Asia Pacific media launch of the Windows Phone members of the public were finaly given a preview of the yet to be launched AGIS NAVFone with Live Traffic Information (LTI) application on the Samsung OMNIA II.

Key functionalities of the application on display were the Live Traffic Image Capability, Live Congestion Indicator, Live Traffic Alerts as well as the popular Public Transport Planner.

NAVFone Features Showcased at Windows Phone Media Launch - 7 Oct 2009

Singapore - NAVFone takes centre-stage at the Asia Pacific Windows Phone launch

Guests at the Asia Pacific launch of the Windows Phone (Windows Mobile 6.5) were treated to a preview of AGIS NAVFone's latest intelligent functionality, the Live Traffic Information (LTI) service.

A demonstration by Mediacorp Radio's Justin and Vernon, displayed NAVFone's capabilities in providing Live Traffic Image Feeds as well as Live Traffic Information Alerts, seamlessly integrated into the existing NAVFone application.

The Public Transport Planner was also featured as an effective tool for getting around Singapore.
